I started Sobriosity with a passion for helping women find sobriety and be set free from the chaos it brings with it. Rehab is expensive, my stay cost over $52,000 and is just not a viable option for most women. While I was there with all the time to finally be alone with my thoughts, I had an epiphany and discovered the root of my problem and how to overcome it. It has now become my mission to pass that knowledge and freedom on to others.

What's it about?
Every morning starts with intention and a plan for the day. Consistency leads to development of good habits. Each day you'll receive an email with the Focus of the Day. We won't do everything at once because that doesn't work! You just have to focus on one new thing. We build from there in time.
In order to get to where you want to be, you have to know where you are. The self-assessment isn‘t to see how “bad” of a drinker you are and it‘s only for you, no one else sees it and you‘re not grading yourself. The purpose of the assessment is to have a better understanding of your drinking patterns. It gives a better sense of what your possible triggers are and gives a clearer picture of how to change those behaviors.
You won’t have to write a book, but we will be writing just a little bit everyday. It’s very simple, you’ll just write how you’re feeling about your journey. We will go more in depth but fear not, it’s part of the process and you’ll see the benefits of it in a short time.
You don’t have to worry about being in social situations without a “drink” and having a parade of people asking if you want a drink, or why aren’t you drinking and having to explain yourself to people with these recipes. You can order Mocktails at most establishments or make them at home and bring to the party.
Self-Care is really important in this process. If you’re anything like me, when I was drinking daily, I certainly wasn’t taking care of myself. My health was suffering, I gained a massive amount of weight and I just didn’t take any time to rest. We’ll cover some of the best things you can do during this process that will have you wanting to keep the journey going.
These “skills” are critical for sobriety because life always happens no matter what. What skills you ask?? Coping skills! The skills we don’t really learn growing up. We just deal with it. We drink at it, after al, that’s what they do in the movies. Have a problem? “ You need a drink”, something good happened? “You need a drink”, we all know, there’s always a reason to drink, but there’s way more reasons not to and you’ll learn that you don’t have to anymore because YOU’VE GOT SKILLS!
